Christmas Tag

You can probably tell from my past few posts that I'm already well into the Christmas spirit and I can tell from a few of the blogs I visit regularly that so are a lot of other bloggers! I spied on milkbubbletea.blogspot.com a little Christmas themed tag so I thought I'd take part.

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
Elf is hands down my favourite film at Christmas, my family and I watch it every single year without fail. My Dad thinks it is hilarious so it goes down well with everyone.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Christmas morning, we usually do stockings first then head down to the tree to uncover the rest whilst cracking open champagne - the only time it's acceptable to drink before 12pm.

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
I never realised that Christmas was big deal in my house until my boyfriend came to stay the week before. He said it was such a big event for us but the presents are such a minor part (how cheesy), I have a big family including step siblings and it's the one day of the year we are all definitely together for a full 24 hours. So I guess I don't have one specific memory, I just remember every Christmas fondly.

4. favourite festive food?
Quality Street family tins and stuffing. I could eat stuffing by itself I love it that much.

5. Favourite Christmas gift ?
I have no idea why but I remember one year I got the chocolate dog and the wrapping made it look like Purdy from 101 Dalmatians (like the Lindt bunnies but dog form). I have no idea why that memory sticks in my head but it's one of the first gifts I really remember getting.

6. Favourite Christmas scent?
The Christmas tree for sure.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
My parents aren't together so we usually spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning at my Dads house before heading to my Mums for Christmas afternoon and evening. Other than that I tend to meet friends for drinks late in the evening, that's developed into a tradition over the past few years.

8. What tops your tree?
We have this little angel thing that we've had since I was a baby, it belongs to my Mum and it red and white a fluffy. It looks a little tatty now but it graces our tree every year.

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
As spoilt as it sounds I always got what I wanted. One year though I asked repeatedly for a baby born doll, it was the one thing I wanted over anything else, and on Christmas day my little sister opened one of her presents and it was a baby born. I was convinced I hadn't got one and she had and I was devastated but I ended up opening that present last.

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?
Christmas is a big day in our house and especially now I've properly moved away from home so my visits tend to be only 2 or 3 days every few months, it's rare that the whole family has the time to get together so it's nice to spend at least 2 days (my sisters birthday is boxing day so everyone sticks around for that) with everyone.

Feel free to tag yourself in the comments if you want to use this on your blog!

Until next time,
