Welcome Home

As you probably know I recently moved into a beautiful house in Wimbledon with some girl friends. We finally have internet and Sky TV and, because I've never been before in my life and my housemates wanted to treat me, we even did an Ikea shop. So now we are a little more settled in I thought I'd give you a glimpse of my new home.

This hangs on our kitchen door. Luckily all four of us have very similar, very feminine, taste in interior decor and we have this sort of thing dotted all over the place. We also have flowers in a beautiful metal jug by the sink in the kitchen.

If you don't notice the pillow first then you're not looking the right place. My sister got my this for my birthday, it's Chanel, and I adore it. The little lamp by my bed really needs replacing, I've had it for four years and it's gone wonky, but it gives off such a gorgeous warm light that I hate to give it up.

I have so much jewellery it's ridiculous. I did a full clear out of jewellery and clothes recently and handed over two enormous bin bags to a charity shop with all the stuff I no longer use regularly and yet I still struggle to fit everything in my bedroom. I don't keep necklaces in my jewellery box, they are hung on sticky hooks on the walls. I also have this pretty little box my sister got my for my birthday which I filled with coffee beans so I could stand make-up brushes up in it.

As you can tell everyone was excited for us to move, it took us so long to find the right place, so we have displayed our welcome cards proudly on the coffee table in the kitchen.

That's all you'll see for the time being, I hope you love it as much as we do.

Until next time,

  1. I love your jewellery box and collection! I rarely wear jewellery but I seem to have so much of it!
